Bamboo and birds
I’m super excited to kick off 2025 with our painting session of bamboo! We’ll start by practicing painting the leaves first, just to get a feel for the materials and techniques. It’s a fun way to warm up!
We’ll move on to painting the trunk of the bamboo. We’ll take our time adding in texture and detail to really bring it to life.
After we’ve practiced everything including the birds , we’ll put it all together and start on our final painting. I can’t wait to see what you all create!
March
we will be painting a forest part 1
I hope you’re doing well! I just wanted to share a little about our painting adventure. Picture this: we’re surrounded by these stunning silver birch trees towering above us, their leaves dancing in the breeze. The undergrowth is lush and vibrant, covering the ground like a cozy blanket.
There's this lovely winding path cutting through the forest, inviting us to explore and get inspired. I wait to share this amazing forest and how nature can spark creativity.

Hawk
I’m thrilled to share our upcoming project with you all! To kick things off, we’ll start by creating a detailed line drawing of our hawk. This drawing will serve as a reference placed beneath our paper, ensuring we capture every aspect of this magnificent bird.
We’ll be using Chinese ink for the painting process, which is going to be absolutely fantastic! The ink will really help us bring out the intricate details and textures of the hawk’s feathers and form. I can’t wait to see how it all comes together!
Let’s get ready to unleash our creativity!
