I know you love those Chinese brush paintings of plum blossoms as much as I do. The problem is, I just do not seem to find the time to practice this wonderful subject as much as I would like.

Hello painters.
In this Zoom class, we're going to be painting a super lion. This is going be a fun piece to paint. We’re really going to bring this lion to life with all the vibrant Blue hues, adding high and low lights, and finishing off with some gold paint to add some extra flair.

Time to create something beautiful. In today's Zoom lesson, we're going to be painting a landscape with mountains, a house, Trees and some water with the reflection of the mountains in the water.
This is going to be a fun and relaxed session, so don't stress too much about making it perfect. Just enjoy the process and let your creativity flow. Can't wait to see what you all come up with! Let me know if you have any questions.
How to Back a painting

I will be showing you how I make my own glue from scratch
And the how to apply the glue to the back of the painting. Placing the backing paper on the painting. Then how to pick the whole painting and placing it on a drying board.
I will be backing different sizes of painting.
I will also show you how to take off a dried paintings.

I wanted to share an opportunity for small group learning. I offer classes with a maximum of 4 students per session. Meeting in an intimate group setting allows for personalized attention and hands-on learning. My home-based classes provide a relaxed, focused environment to develop your skills and knowledge.

For Chinese brush painting, you will need the following:
- Chinese brushes (watercolour brushes are not suitable);
- Felt to fit the size of your paper;
- A water container (3 way water holder is best);
- Ink (Bottled Ink is the best choice and a lot easier, and a lot less messy to use, than grinding ink);
- Set of watercolors (You can buy tubes of watercolour paints like “Marie’s” Chinese watercolour );
- Plate or palette for you ink;
- Small side plates or a pocket palette for your watercolour paints;
- Paper towels with which to dry your brush.

If you cancel your registration 15 days or more prior to the start of class,you will receive a full refund less any bank fees. If you cancel 14 days or less prior to the start of class, you will receive a credit voucher to use on any future lessons.
